Ume No Ma, the Plum Room: $120 per night
Need more space? Ask about Ume No Ma, the Plum Room. It's a tatami mat room upstairs that can accommodate extra guests who come with you. It offers a private lavatory, but they'll share the showers with the downstairs rooms.
Rent both Suites at Berkshires Shirakaba Guesthouse: $650 per night
Need even MORE space? We gladly open our arms for those who wish to have the privacy and luxury of the entire Berkshires Shirakaba for their own! We will pamper you and your guests for as long as you choose to enjoy the ambiance of the Berkshires. Contact Louise to discuss options.

Please Note: There is an additional fee single-night stays. Discounts are available for stays of 4 nights or more.
- Deposit: A deposit of one night's lodging, by personal or bank check, will hold your reservation.
- Payment: We accept cash, checks and most major credit cards.
- Room rates: Room rates are based on a 2-night stay. If you can stay with us only one night, there's a housekeeping fee of $40.
- Cancellation: To cancel a reservation, please phone us at (413) 458-1800 at least 21 days before the arrival time, and your full deposit will be returned to you. If less than 21 days, we will try to re-book your room, and if we can, a partial refund may be offered to you, but a cancellation fee of $50 will apply. If we can't re-book the room, please understand that your deposit will not be refunded.
- Check-in/Check out: Check-in time is 3 p.m.; we need until then to make sure that everything is perfect for your visit. And if you must leave, checkout time is 11 a.m.
- Smoking: Shirakaba is proud to be a smoke-free haven. Guests respect and appreciate our strict rule against smoking in the guest house or on the deck.
