From East via Mass Turnpike, Rt. 90
Get on Mass Turnpike, Rt. 90 West to head Albany, NY.
Get off Mass Turnpike at Lee, Exit 2. Approx. 120 miles from Boston.
After passing through the toll booth, make right turn at the road,
Rt. 20 North. The road leads in to downtown Lee. After passing
Sunoco gas station on the left, there is a square on the right.
At the corner of the square, make right turn to stay on Rt. 20
North. Stay on Rt. 20 through Lenox. In Lenox Rt. 20 becomes Rt.
7 / 20. Stay on it to downtown Pittsfield. Approx. 11 miles from
Lee exit.
In downtown Pittsfield there is a circle, and all traffic turn
right. At the first street on the right, which is East street, get
on it. Right after getting on East street, make left turn at the
next Light, which leads to Rt. 7 North. Stay on Rt. 7 North, passing
through Lanesboro to New Ashford. Approx. 11 miles from downtown
Pittsfield.
After passing a Town of New Ashford sign, and a Snowy Owl Resort
sign on the left, there is Red Carpet Inn on the right. Slow down
while passing the Red Carpet Inn. Mallery Rd. is coming up immediately
on the left after passing the Red Carpet Inn.
Make left turn on to Mallery Rd. right before a big cliff.
On
Mallery Rd. turn right on the first driveway on the right.
There is a sign, Shirakaba, in Japanese on a big rock leaning
on a tree.

West via Mass Turnpike, Rt. 90
Get on Mass Turnpike, Rt. 90 East. Drive towards Boston.
Get off Mass Turnpike at exit B3, Rt. 22 exit. Approx. 50 miles
from Albany, NY.
Take Rt. 22 North to head New Lebanon. Rt. 22 intersects Rt.
20 in New Lebanon. Approx. 5 to 6 miles from exit B3.
At Rt. 20 make right turn to head East towards Pittsfield, Mass.
Drive about 1 miles to Rt. 22 North.
At Rt. 22 North make left turn right before Hess gas station
to head to Stephentown. Drive about 6 miles to Rt. 43 in Stephentown.
At
Rt. 43 make right turn to head Williamstown, Mass. The speed
limit changes from 55 to 45 near Hancock town hall. There is
a sign "Jiminy Ski Resort" on
the right at the corner of Brodie Mountain Rd. Make right ,turn
to get on Brodie Mountain Rd. Approx.. 4 miles from Rt. 43.
Take Brodie Mountain Rd. and drive about 3 miles to Rt. 7. You
will pass Jiminy Ski Resort on the way on the right.
At Rt. 7 make left turn to head Williamstown. Drive about 2
miles, pass Snowy Owl Resort area on the left, and Red Carpet
Inn on the right. Slow down while passing the Red Carpet Inn.
Mallery Rd. is coming up immediately on the left after passing
the Red Carpet Inn.
Make left turn on to Mallery Rd. right before a big cliff.
On Mallery Rd. turn right on the first driveway on the right.

From North via Rt. 7 South
Get on Rt. 7 South and drive towards Williamstown, Mass.
,
Pass Williams Inn on the right at a circle in Williamstown, and
drive towards Pittsfield.
On the way to New Ashford, there is an expansive view of Mt.
Greylock on the left.
After passing Mill on the Floss restaurant on the left in New
Ashford, there is a big cliff on the right at the end of incline.
Slow down while passing the cliff. Mallery Rd. is coming up
immediately on the right after passing the cliff. Approx. 11
miles from the circle in Williamstown.
Make right turn on to Mallery Rd.
On Mallery Rd. turn right on the first driveway on the right.
There is a sign, Shirakaba, in Japanese on a big rock leaning
on a tree.

From South via Taconic Pkwy
Get on to Taconic Pkwy from NYC, via either Saw Mill River Pkwy
or Sprain Pkwy.
Get
off Taconic at Rt. 295. There is a sign saying "Last
exit before toll".
At a stop sign, make left. This road ends at Rt. 295 in about
300 Feet.
At Rt. 295 make right turn, head towards Canaan and pass through
it. Drive about 7 miles to Rt. 22.
At Rt. 22 make left turn to head North to New Lebanon. Drive
about 4 miles to Rt. 20. in New Lebanon.
At Rt. 20 make right turn to head East towards Pittsfield, Mass.
Drive about 1 miles to Rt. 22 North.
At Rt. 22 North make left turn right before Hess gas station
